I’m a big supporter of artists. I love what they do & believe their works should be seen & appreciated.

You can’t do that without proper credit.

And while I’m hardly an expert, I do know certain artists well enough to spot their work by sight.

Last night, I saw this piece show up as ‘new’ on deviantArt:

Which seemed odd, as I recognized it as a sketch done by the late Dave Hoover:

I left a comment on the ‘new’ artist’s page, with a link to the original.

That comment has been hidden.

I hate art theft. I hate any kind of theft. Words, images, whatever.

And this is so blatant. The only change is the artist’s signature.

And apparently, the only one who can report art theft to dA is the artist himself…

signal boosting because wowwwww he edited the signature. wow. wow. wow.
